About Cassie Hazell

Hi! I’m Cassie and I’m a lecturer in psychology, with particular research interests in psychosis, psychological therapies, and implementation science. I am also the co-founder of the Early Career Hallucinations Research Group (ECHR) arm of the International Consortium on Hallucinations Research (ICHR). The ECHR brings together early career researchers from around the world with an interest in hallucinations, and provides a platform for them to collaborate with each other. I am currently working on several projects spanning topics such as mental health stigma, student mental health, digital mental health, and hearing voices. I teach at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level, and lead a module on clinical psychology. I have worked with a number of third sector groups in my work, including Rethink Mental Illness, the Hearing Voices Network, and Mind. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting and all things Harry Potter.
